Fair is where you go to ride the carnival rides.
Life is sometimes, frequently not fair if you define fair as getting everything you think you should get. But if you define fair as above, and then say Life is about getting about what you need to learn new lessons and grow and learn, then life is always fair, and you can always be growing to be the best you can be.
You don't even have to join the army for that.
